A strong believer that thoughtful tax strategy can materially improve long-term outcomes, Shawn regularly reviews clients’ tax returns to identify opportunities – where appropriate – to help reduce current and future tax exposure. He is particularly knowledgeable in the strategic use of Roth conversions and works closely with clients to evaluate when and how this approach may create meaningful long-term benefits. Shawn resides in Alpine, New Jersey with his wife, Lori. They have two grown children: Justin, an attorney practicing in New York City, and Kara, who joined Summit Advisory Group in 2026 following a successful career with a New York-based hospitality and event management firm – reflecting the firm’s commitment to multi-generational leadership and service.
